Weather conditions and recommendations for the 12 Islands boat tour from Fethiye and Oludeniz
The boat tour takes place in Fethiye Gulf, one of the calmest and most scenic areas of Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. Thanks to the many islands and bays, strong waves are uncommon and the tour is suitable for most travelers, including families with children.
April – May
Spring is one of the most beautiful times for the tour: the coast is green, the weather is mild and the sea is gradually warming up.
June – September
This is the main swimming season. The weather is hot, the sea is warm and the bays are perfect for swimming and sunbathing. In July and August, sunscreen, a hat and drinking water are especially important.
October
One of the best months for a quieter boat trip. The sea remains warm and there are fewer tourists.
November – March
Boat tours operate less often and depend on weather conditions. The route may be changed or postponed in case of strong wind or rough sea.
